There are two tour companies that run tours into Lower Antelope Canyon: Ken’s Tours and Dixie Ellis’ Tours. It costs $55 per person for this tour, plus taxes, service charges, and an additional $8 for the Navajo Park Permit Fee. There are several companies offering tours into the canyon. We spent a total of 2 hours here.Antelope Canyon can only be visited on a tour.

Overall, a very good experience of an amazing place. There are many small twists and turns, so if you are elderly or have difficulty with mobility, this is not the place for you. There are a few flights of steep stairs to get into the canyon but they are not scary or difficulty (my 8 year old daughter had no problem!). It was not too hot when we were there and there was a canopy to wait under. The canyon itself is amazing! To get in, you may have to wait for about 15 min until the other tour group goes in (Ken's Tours shares the entrance). My kids especially liked her short demonstration at the end of how a canyon is formed. She told us so much about her own experiences, the canyon, and did provide some tips for the best pictures. Once we got checked in, we were broken into small groups of about 12-14 visitors. They tell you to show up 30 min prior to your tour time- make sure you are! It was a little disorganized since there were many people there, some in line and some waiting around. My family and I visited Dixie's Lower Antelope Canyon tour this past week over Spring Break and we had a lot of fun! The online booking process was seamless. We have beautiful memories of a visit to an amazing natural wonder that is like no other. She took pictures for each party within our group at several special places. She provided great history about the canyon, the Navajo people, and pointed out exceptional formations throughout the trek. They have invested in the software to automate their booking process which was greatly appreciated. We received a followup email with a confirmation for the new date. They were very understanding and able to reschedule and generously waived the charge for the missed tour. I panicked and called immediately, fearing that I would not be able to reschedule for the correct date (one week later). The followup email for a review of the tour was when I realized my mistake. They even emailed a reminder of the date which I did not process as incorrect. I used their online booking option and picked the wrong date - entirely my mistake (we were on a 22-day tour throughout AZ).
